Group Therapy
Work on Relationships—Live, In the Room
Most people imagine group therapy as a support circle where people take turns talking. That’s not what I offer. In the groups I lead, we don’t just talk about relationships—we actively work on them. Group becomes a live environment where relationship patterns naturally emerge and can be addressed in real time.
Over the past 40 years, I’ve led mixed-gender groups where patients receive feedback not only from me, but also from one another. This “surround sound” approach accelerates awareness, provides insight from many perspectives, and gives you the chance to try out new ways of relating in the moment.
Many patients begin in individual therapy, then join group therapy to deepen their growth. In group, you’ll gain powerful tools for navigating vulnerability, honesty, connection, and conflict—all essential to healthy, fulfilling relationships.
